MANUFACTURING LINE MECHANIC

(Can Manufacturing Experience Helpful)

Independent Can Company is seeking an experienced Production Line Mechanic to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairs and the maintenance of production machinery. Must have clear knowledge of mechanical systems such as pneumatic equipment, power transmission principles, conveyor systems, and the ability to read precise measuring equipment and drawings. Must have excellent trouble shooting skills while using a clear and logical approach in solving mechanical problems. Must be dependable, have ability to work under pressure and be a self-starter. This position is key to our production operations so not only is overtime a condition of employment but the norm for at least six months of the year. Responsibilities also include checking for quality production and remedial action to ensure total customer satisfaction and achievement of Company goals. This position requires someone who will train, guide, and work with machine operators in a positive, cooperative, and mentoring environment.
